TURNING PROMISES INTO PROGRESS
Agricultural Transformation focuses on lowering the cost of living by switching from short term consumption subsidies to production incentives. The strategy directly lowers the price of inputs like fertilizer through a digital electronic voucher program to maximize crop output. By systematically optimizing strategic local value chains such as dairy, tea, coffee, and edible oils, the framework converts smallholder farming into profitable, high yielding commercial activities. These strategies are supported by state backed investments in community irrigation networks, agro processing factories, and local cold storage hubs to dramatically mitigate post harvest crop loss.
